The local church was God’s idea for normal people like you and me to thrive in our lives. God doesn’t want you barely surviving and enduring day by day. He wants you to flourish in life (Psalm 92:13)! God has a local church to which you are called, and Bethel just might be the place where God breathes life into you.
We recently conducted a survey and asked the Bethel family, “Why do you come to Bethel and stay?” If what you are hungry for is represented below, then maybe you need to stop reading and get in your car to the next service at Bethel!
#1: The presence of God (This one had more than 50% more responses than any other response given!)
#2: The Bethel culture – this was expressed as loving, accepting, judgment-free, not religious, people are real & transparent, it feels like home or like family, it’s a place to belong.
