Pentecostal churches in Lexington KY

Bethel is a presence-driven church.  A lot churches are focused on being a “purpose-driven church,” and that’s a great model for many churches.  But Bethel’s identity is unique. We are driven by more than a clearly defined purpose.  Even in our first months, when people asked about Bethel & I’d say, “We’re a come & see church.”

God has positioned us to be the answer for those searching for answers.  Charles Dickens opening line from A Tale of Two Cities is an apt description of our world in 2011:  “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.”  We have intense light being expressed in a moment of profound darkness.  America is on the ropes – not just economically but morally and spiritually.  America has gone downhill because God has been systematically removed from our society.

The Kingdom of God needs to see the kind of leadership that is necessary to bring the turnaround that our nation and the world are in desperate need of.  God is raising up some Pentecostal churches in Lexington KY who rather than recognizing dead religion; we recognized the power of God’s presence!

God is looking for Pentecostal churches in Lexington KY that will not speak gloom & doom theology, but rather reveal the heart of the Father to a lost world!  Too many churches are “Come & be judged…come & be condemned…come & be discouraged” – but Bethel is a “Come and See” church!  America needs a miracle.  Lexington & Nicholasville & Richmond & Georgetown need a miracle!  God has positioned us to BE a miracle for our city!

In a presence-driven church, let me tell you what happens because I’ve seen ALL these things happen in the last 6 months!  People are delivered from addictions, bodies are healed, people are set free from homosexual lifestyles, suicidal thoughts leave in an instant, perversion & lust are removed, wounds from abuse are healed, religion is replaced with life & presence & power, people don’t just receive but they begin to be a conduit of God’s power!
